After a first place finish at Reality X and an impressive second place at The Party 8, Nospang will be moving back to a fully Dutch based lineup.
Despite their promising results as of late, Nospang has decided to part ways with it's only Belgian addition, Glenn "craver" Roels, who will be making room for Robert "mean" Kouters, longtime member of the Dutch TheLastResort team.
mean recently left TheLastResort due to his inability to attend the Antwerp Esports Festival, but quickly found a new home in Nospang, a team he faced in the recent The Party 8 Grand Final.
The addition of mean is Nospang's second lineup change in the past three weeks after bringing in Richard "RCHRDYez-" Blok to replace Ronald "RNLD" Aarden the end of March. Jeroen "twyz1nz" Rens (team manager) Mark "SeiKos" Greeven Thijs "xzemy" Luxemburg Darnall "desnoll" Brumond Richard "RCHRDYez-" Blok Robert "mean" Kouters
Statement Thijs "xzemy" Luxemburg: "After The Party 8 we parted ways with craver. It wasn't a easy decision but we feel it's the best for the team. We’re an upcoming team and with Robert “mean” Kouters replacing Glenn “craver” Roels will help us improve even more because of his history and LAN experience. We can learn a lot from him and he is fitting really well in the team."
Statement Robert "mean" Kouters: "After my part in the story of TLR came to an end, I had some time to think about things. Not too long though, because I came in contact with the Nospang lads, who I already met on The Party 8 two weeks ago. We played some matches and I felt joining them was the right thing to do. These players definitely have a really good potential to be the next big team, they have the right attitude to achieve that and I’m happy to be a part of it. I’m already sorry that pretty soon TLR won’t be the best of the benelux anymore ."
